Our bedroom didn’t require any renovation, but since we originally moved in from an international move with a newborn, it took us a few years to actually get this room settled. A large rug anchored the space and a cabinet and display cabinet. helped with storage. We had an oversized mirror in the room before (I got this years ago at a Z gallerie store closing sale) after adding the storage cabinet we moved it in the corner to reflect the window light. I made the light fixture from a basket. The lumbar pillow is made from a Turkish rug I got on Etsy and the cross is Ethiopian. The photograph is mine.

Yep, it’s a TV in there

I have had a fake fireplace since my twenties, and I finally added a 20” tv with built in dvd that continuously plays “Fireplace for your Home.” This cheesy solution fits the bill of a flickering a crackling fireplace just perfectly for me!
